What to expect on your first Sunday at WordHouse

Visiting a church for the first time is an odd experience. You do not know where to sit, when to stand, or what will be expected of you. This is meant to remove the guesswork.
Where and when
We meet at Nung Uso Town Hall, off Atabong Road, Eket. Sunday worship runs from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Arriving five or ten minutes early gives you time to find a seat without an audience.
What the service is like
Corporate worship centred on Christ, then expository teaching — which means the preacher works through a passage and explains what it says, rather than using it as a springboard. Expect to be handling an open Bible. If you do not have one, someone will share.
What nobody will ask of you
- You will not be asked to stand up and introduce yourself
- You will not be asked for money
- There is no dress code — come as you are
- You can keep coming for as long as you like without joining anything
If you would like someone to look out for you when you arrive, tell the welcome team it is your first time. That is all it takes.
